I just wanted to share another product that I offer. Here is an example of a baby announcement that I recently custom designed for Madison Wickard.

living my dreams...

Since I was very little I've always dreamed that one day I would be an artist. Remember how you were always asked in elementary school, "What are you going to be when you grow up?" Well I always believed that I would grow up to be an artist! It was definitely one of the only things I was good at in school. School came very hard for me and I really struggled through it up until college. I'm almost shocked that I even decided to go to college because the thought of school even now makes my stomach turn!

The reason why I'm talking about this is because my brother Eric, who is a 2nd grade teacher, has asked me to come into his class and share about what I do. He's always wanted me to come in and talk because he wants his students to understand that there are so many different things that you can be successful at...not JUST Math, Science, and English! We were all created unique with different gifts! I know I wish that someone would have told me that in school when I was growing up...I think I would have felt better about myself. (Of course my mom told me that!)

Well...all that to say that I know I am extremely blessed to be doing what I had always dreamed! I'm an artist! Crazy! I truly love what I do and am very thankful!

I'll have to let you all know how my visit to Eric's classroom goes...I think he might even make me read them a story! That's so scary to me because...like I said...I wasn't a good student and hated when the teacher asked me to read out loud! Ha!

Also...I wanted to quickly share this image! I've been playing around with some actions I just bought...and I'm loving the results!!! More fun examples to come!

SEE! Told you it was COLD!

Okay...okay...I know I made a post about two weeks ago announcing this post would be up in a day or two...well I SHOULD have said a week or two! I really just got caught up in doing taxes and other not fun things like that!

Kimberly and Chad had a beautiful wedding on probably one of the COLDEST days in Michigan!!! I'm not kidding...it was SO cold that it took your breath away when you walked outside. This made me very sad since the light was beautiful that day....but there was seriously no way I was getting anyone to go out there with me for pics!

wppi...here i come!

I'm extremely excited to be attending the WPPI conference in Las Vegas again this March!!! I wasn't planning on it, but my wonderful friend and photographer Melody Carpenter talked me into going with her again...and I'm so glad she did!!! The WPPI is a great way to network with other photographers, learn an insane amount of information, and buy equipment that I don't really need! Ha! Yes...last year ended up being an expensive trip! I just couldn't pass up the great deals that B&H offered! At least I didn't loose that money at the Three Card Poker table!
I know over the past year I've receive a lot of emails from other photographers from all over the States wanting to network and connect. I just thought I'd throw it out there and find out if any of you are attending...I would love meet up and hang! Let me know!!!

Here's little Madison at 6 weeks old! Ever since I shot a few pictures of her at the hospital I've been waiting to shoot some more!! She is just so SWEET!!!

I'm definitely going to post a few more later but right now I need to head out the door to meet with my accountant to do taxes...doesn't that just sound like fun???
