eric & heather...married!!

Eric and Heather had a beautiful fall themed wedding in Van Wert, OH. I had been looking forward to shooting their wedding since I had such a great time at their engagement session.
I hung out with the girls at the salon early that morning and they were all so sweet! When I walked in I found Heather working hard on her wedding day painting toes!
Despite all the rain, every thing went perfectly!

happy belated birthday

My wonderful hubby Brian just turned 26th last Saturday...I've been so busy with wedding stuff that it wasn't until last night that I actually got to celebrate it with him!
I had a wedding in Ohio on his birthday so I missed the whole birthday weekend!
I'm so thankful for him and all his love and support. Without his encouragement, I may have never tried to do the whole photography business full time.
I took this picture of him when we were up at the lake this summer fishing. He probably won't like that I posted a pic of him...but I just think he's so cute!

nick & jen...married!!

I really enjoyed shooting Nick and Jen's wedding. We were under a bit of a time crunch with pictures, but I was still really happy with the results! It sounds cheesy, but the camera really does love Jen! I felt like she couldn't take a bad picture! With those gorgeous blue eyes, freckles and bright red lipstick, I could have taken pictures of her all day!
The ceremony was at the Indianapolis State Building and their reception was at the IRT. They are both actors in Indianapolis so I thought it was so fitting that they did their reception there!
Nick will be playing Laertes in Hamlet coming up at the end of September...everyone should go see it!

i'm back!

I finally got back yesterday morning from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where I was assisting a wedding for Nate Rowe. It's definitely a wedding I'll never forget! I arrived on Sunday to beautiful sunny weather! Once I got into my room...I threw on my suit and headed for the pool. Nate wasn't going to arrive until Monday, so it was definitely interesting being at a resort alone...but I made the most of it! On Monday we heard the news that Hurricane Henriette was on her way! Luckily the hurricane didn't hit until after the ceremony. The wedding was beautiful and we got some GREAT shots! Once I get caught up on things I'll post some pictures.

Tomorrow morning I leave for Cabo San Lucas to shoot a wedding with Nate Rowe...Nathaniel Edmunds Photography. I won't have my cell phone on, but I will be checking email...so if you need to reach me shoot me an email.
