good times in las vegas!

Once again WPPI was well worth the trip! Between networking with other photographers, sitting through seminars, and visiting the massive trade show my head is busting with tons of information and new ideas that I can't wait to implement this up coming wedding season!



I especially enjoyed spending time with some of my close photo friends as well as making some new ones. Above is a picture with Amanda Reynolds from Turtle Pond Photography and Melody Carpenter from Carpenter Photography and Design.
You can also see baby Claire...the most AMAZING baby I've EVER known. She's just two and a half months old and she's the sweetest thing. You're probably thinking...who takes a baby to Las Vegas???...but she did so well and NEVER fussed. I want one just like her!





Jenn Stump from Twice Shy Design and her husband, Brian, also traveled with us. I really enjoyed getting to know them!




I was so excited to run into Mel Barlow. We went to college together and she was extremely helpful and encouraging when I first started leaning towards doing photography as a career. She's now located in California and is an amazing photographer!

Hey Everyone!!

Once again I wanted to remind you that I will be out of town until March 20th for the WPPI in Las Vegas! I'm very excited about this trip! It's a great way for me to kick off the wedding season! Last year was very rewarding...I was able to learn a TON of photography/business information and view all sorts of awesome products at the trade show...all to better serve YOU!

mike & heather...engaged: part I

I wanted to get a few of these up real quick! I was planning on doing the post tomorrow, but my schedule has suddenly fill up! Hopefully I'll get the rest up by Wednesday:)

I had the best time shooting Mike and Heather's engagement session. Not only was it a BEAUTIFUL afternoon, but they were such a pleasure to work with! They were definitely troopers...since it's been MONTHS since I've done a shoot like that, I had to drag them all over downtown for HOURS! But I think it was all worth it!

first e-session of 08!

I'm so excited!!!! Today is my first engagement session of 2008! I absolutely LOVE engagement sessions! They are so relaxed and fun...AND the best part is getting to know my clients as a couple!!! Today I'm shooting Heather and Mike's e-session downtown and it's going to be GREAT weather! Stay tuned for the post!
