chris & libby...married!!!

I had a blast shooting Chris and Libby's wedding. They are such a fun couple to be around and are completely head over heals in love!! Despite the unexpected 90 degree weather in October, the whole wedding party was really laid back during pictures and not afraid to let loose!!
Their ceremony and reception was held at Fountain Square Theater in Indianapolis. With it's old fashion diner and beautiful theater, it always makes for a fun location for pictures.
Libby looked absolutely gorgeous...I loved her up do! And I especially like how Chris and all his groomsmen wore brown converse and matching socks!

The Zoo

This past weekend my mom came to Indy to visit. Since it was such a beautiful day on Saturday the fam decided to go to the zoo. It definitely brings back childhood memories seeing all the animals.
Small fact about me: I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and was fortunate enough to have the experience of seeing a lot of these animals in the wild.
Brian and Becky got an earful of random facts and stories about the animals...and it doesn't help that Eric and my mom are elementary teachers! One funny moment was when we were hanging out by the Ostriches and a man said to his wife, "I've heard that you can actually ride these things." We all had a laugh because we use to do that.
It was definitely a fun day of hanging out! I brought my camera along to snap some quick family pictures.

Patrick & Angela's Reception

Patrick and Angela threw a BEAUTIFUL reception at the Omni Hotel. They had so many amazing details from the party favors to their unique guest books. It was such a memorable event. Family and friends flew in from all over the country. Even their little dog Sam was a guest.
I fell in love with Angela's wedding gown! She is truly one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen.
